Rivera has left a new comment on your post "1/25/12":
OK I will attempt to write the report. First I will say that we were missing Rondo, Mike and Todd but little t made an appearance. A good group of approximately 25 to 30 started out. The wind was steady out of the west which made for a difficult ride out and back. I started out at a moderate pace on rt-10 and rich Foley went with me. We stayed away until brooksvale park when Josh, hunter, MT man, guido and hunter bridged up. We stayed away until we got stuck at the rt-68 light. After the light things stayed together for the most part. Another attack happened when me, Josh, MT man and hunter went hard after the rt-322 crossing. We stayed away until the false flat. Ed then went to the front and drilled it past the riffle range. It stayed hard past the turn around onto west St when me, hunter, ed and Josh attacked at the climb where I think Josh took the hill. Ed then went to the front and drove the pace to the hi-way. Things came back together at the lights. The ride was status quo until canal St when big john launched an attack hoping to catch the 322 light. He git stuck at the light and all was back together to rt-10. It was a steady ride to the s&s hill where hunter and 't' went for the sprint. T took the sprint and the ride stayed together at a hard steady pace back to Aunt Chilada's. I'm not sure who finished first because I was in my small ring barley able to peddle after lots of hard efforts. All in all a real hard ride but we missing, Mike, Todd and Rondo (can't believe I actually missed Rondo) I must have a fever. I am sure I left things out but this is the best I could recall. Sorry to any of you I left out. Chris (Kristy) Crowell

4/8/12
Motherfucker what a weekend.....
We went to Branchbrook park on Saturday. This race was a barnburnner to say the least. We road in the top 25 all day. There were 120 starters and 36 finished. A move slipped off the front with 10 miles to go with the avg speed up there I thought it would come back but you know how that goes. We just rolled in to try and save the legs for today. The Yale team added a 1/2 race this year E and I were pretty psyched to do it, nothing like doing a home town race. The course was pretty good 5 corners and lots of potholes a true breakaway course. The race started out pretty easy I just sat back for the first 2 laps I didn't know any of the collage guys so I waited to see how the race would unfold. A move went on the 3rd lap with Hacker, Sasha, Hunter, Yella, some collage guy and another CCB rider. I moved up and E took me half way across the gap and I jumped the rest of the way. When I went across I had some good legs so I put in a couple of hard laps. When we settled in Hunter and the CCB guy were gone and Ryan Serbol came across. The break was working well everyone was doing there share for the most part. There was a lot of horse power in the move so I knew we were gone. As the laps started to wind down I was trying to figure out how I was going to pull something off. I was the worst sprinter there. With 2 laps to go Hacker attacked I was at the wrong end of the line I thought that was it Ryan went across they hesitated and we brought them back. The old guys maneuvered the two collage kids to the front on the last lap and it went into a game of poker. The guy I didn't know attacked everyone went after him and I sat at the back they all fanned out across the road I attacked as soon as they were looking at each other. We were about 1km out but it was the window I was waiting for. I came out of the last corner with a gap but it was a long finishing straight. I gave it my all buy Ryan got me on the line. I tasted the the win but it was not to be. This is the payoff for all the work we put in this year.
