11/30

Look at the date the race season is almost here . Its time to start putting in big base miles no more baggin due to shit weather . Even if that means 100k on the trainer . ouch Robyn where is the preparation H ? I cant give enough kudos to Hard Attack 27 on Sirius radio to keep me from going nuts , nothing like some good old Hard Core to keep you pedaling .

Dam!! I better kick my training up a notch or three. I can last maybe a little over 1 hour on the trainer, and I'm done. I actually rode to Stop and Shop from my house this morning, stupid but I thought it would stop snowing so kept going. Dam weather forecasts. Got about half way and it started getting pretty bad. Well, I got there and it didn't stop, so I rode home. My kids thought it was pretty funny that I was covered in ice. The wife wasn't so happy.

We were in Greenwhich coffe trying not to think about riding outside . Eric M rode there from Waterbury .

Todd, John G and I went mountain biking for 2.5 hours yesterday. Having the mountain bike is a nice back-up. Beats riding the trainer. I agree with you Ed. I can't last more than 1.5hrs on that stupid trainer. I refuse to bring it out yet. Not until after Christmas.

I can barely afford my road bike expenses never mind a mountain bike. Although I'd love to have one. Chris, you got one that you can spare? I'd gladly pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today (not sure if you guys ever watched Popeye the sailor man).

100k on the trainer, stop being a sally and ride on the road. I rode 3.5 hours yesterday in sleet and snow. It was fun sliding all over the road, plus I made the experience tougher by staying up late at the bar the night before. Actually the only reason I went riding was to burn off the beer. So in a way it helps, yes that's the ticket.
