Well its official the SDWC is canceled for the 3rd time this year due to bad weather. I don't remember the ride being this grim for a long time. When I lived in Watertown it would snow a lot but the roads were usually good the next day it seemed. I get a cold chill thinking about making the long long walk to the basement to climb onto the bike. I keep tell myself , you have to . I wish I still had my Xcountry skis . That was always a good leg breaking experience . Well hopefully next weekend will be different . When we due get back outside its going to be a sloppy mess .

Tim I don't mean to beat a dead horse but I would think that after the age of 30 you would a) be done with school b)not live with your Mom and Dad (give them a break I'm sure they want you gone by now)c)Have a full time job. Remember I build the schools that you work in. With out me you wouldn't have anywhere to go . I would not toot my horn about being a school teacher . Tim or Mit whatever you prefer don't get angry, it wasn't your money wasted at school it was your parents. I'm sure they cry themselves to sleep at night . When you hear the screams in the middle of the night that's them waking up from the same nightmare . You know the one where you never move out .

Ron, looks like you missed the boat for Battenkill. The 30+ and 40+ fields are closed. You're probably smart staying away from the dirt roads though.

You snooze, you loose. That race filled up in a day. Ed, I think this will be the first battenkill for you, no? You will love this race. I raced it two years ago when it was cloudy and 50 degrees. I missed it last year when it was 90 degrees out. I'm looking forward to this year race.
Hey whats up with the Munson race and a new Quabin Res race on the same weekend that was traditionaly the Sturbridge and Palmer races? I wounder if they are going to have those races this year. Munson is usually in July.
