The Park
We decided to go to the park this morning . Its one of my favorite races but the 4:15leave time kinda sucks . When choosing team mates you have to find guys that fit well together , there's a lot of drive time together that could gnaw at you if you don't get along . Mike and I have been doing so for 20 years now and since the departure of Idone we have searched for that third wheel . To fill these shoes you need to be able to walk the tight rope of two equally fuck up guys . Jeeves seems to be up for the task . On to the race the city boys are fucking flying right now , the race was fast ! The first lap was in total darkness . We flew around the park at warp factor 5. I thought we were about to go through horse shit alley (2 k form start finish) when we went by the Finish line . I was like fuck me ! We took turns attacking and pretty much didn't miss a move all day , but the sprinters would have there day as usual in the spring . Mike layed in an attack on the last lap on the hill , I was next to Jeeves like 15 back and I said to him hes throwing the race away . When he got caught midway up I tried to get in a good spot Jeeves was on my wheel . I left him off near the front and went back to get Mike to see about the sprint . I came across him about 3 miles from the finish and he told me that Jeeves was the sprinter today . Shit now I have to make my way back to him . He was 25 back and not where he needed to be . I get up to him just before horse shit alley , rubbed shoulder's with him thinking he would get on me . I got up to the Champ Sys lead out which looked good at the moment , looked back no Jeeves fuck !! I know the sprint here is not my thing so I go back to try and get him when Mike comes by me . Jeeves was on the other side of the field now and I couldn't get to him . I just rolled in behind Mike . After the race we talked and Jeeves thought Mike was the guy so he was looking for him . Oh well its a work in progress . All in all we raced hard this weekend and should get some good fitness from it .

I give Jeeves some credit. He was in the break on Saturday, raced at some godawful hour on Sunday morning and then went to Bethel to race the 123 in the afternoon.
