Plainville Week 1

The boys all met at Mike place for a nice warm up and pep talk form the Gipper. It went something like this . Yeaaaahhhhh we gotta hit em low and hit em hard if ya miss hit em again Yeaaahhhh . We got in a nice hour plus ride . The race had a good field Iden's squad , CvC and the Bubbles were the best represented. The race started as expected . The first few laps of no hoper attacks and counters . The real action doesn't start until about 10 laps in. Jeeves and Kosci stayed on the front in the begging just in case something good went early , when they started to look tired Mike and I went to work to give them a break . The race was pretty eventful lots of action . I attacked and Iden came with me and we bridged to a couple guys up the road . When we got there I didn't like the mix so I sat up and went back to the pack . To my surprise they started to work and got a nice little gap . Mike went across with a few guys in toe and that's when I was looking for my ride across the gap . I saw Chappe from the bubbles getting ready to attack with Matt on his wheel , they went and I got boxed out a little but got on Matt's wheel . OK I going to say this so Bubble people get ready to copy and paste this one . Chappe gets the ride of the day ! He mushed across the gap and every time he looked like he was going to crack Matt told him to keep going and to his credit he did and got us there . After I got a little breather I started to roll through the line . There were a few guys driving the break but there were some that were just passengers. I will leave the names out to protect the guilty . When I saw the pack up the road I didn't like the thought of catching them , to many team mates to fuck up the rhythm of the break . They should have pulled the pack with 2 to go but what ever. Kosci and Jeeves did what they could at the front with five to go but it was a cluster fuck of guys that were lapped fighting to be at the front. One guy from Noonen was fighting me for a spot with 2 to go and I was like your fucking a lap down what the fuck . I was in a bad spot on the last lap and Mike was on my wheel , when the pack split , half went right the other went left and I was exposed in the middle . The wind hit me and didn't have any leg speed and I couldn't get going as hard as I tryed . Mike had to go to plan B . He hit the last corner first with Craig and Matt on his wheel and that was that . Well that's bike racing and the best thing is there is always next week.
