RONDO'S RAGE

Bethel YUP that's what I said Bethel! The first race of the season came and went,the report card look good for some teams and not so good for others. First off I will say I was at a swim meet for 18 hours on Saturday so I wasn't feeling that special when I woke up on Sunday. I set out to meet Mike and the boys for a warm up ride / talk about the race tactics . It was the same old same old , I wasn't going to be active until the later part of the race E and Kioski were going to be at the front Marshaling and Mike does what Mike wants to do. I was chilln at the back and I could see thing coming and going. Mike was in a nice move with some strong guys but that got absorbed. Then a break went up the rode that Had 50 seconds on us and I had no clue who was in it or when it went. I thought that Timmmmyyyyy might be in it because I didn't see him all day, that was funny if you saw the shape the boy is in. I would describe it as PEAR shaped I guess. It looks like Timmmyyyy is living the good life. Back to the race I could see Mike coming out of his skin because we weren't in the move E was up front working hard . The way I look at it if they had 50 sec on us that early in the race one of two things were going to happen 1) they would lap us 2) they would explode and come back one at a time. OK 3) The 20 bubble boys in the race would ride cohesively and bring it back to set up LT for the win. HHAAAA HAAAAA. Good one right! Enough comedy, then I saw a Target guy casting back to us and I knew that they were cracking. Then one of Idens guys was on the side of the rode. The other two guys were at 50 sec but there was still a lot of racing left. With 18 laps to go I gave it a whirl to see if someone would bite Chip Foley and Anyus went but nothing came of it. Its was clear that this was going to be a pack sprint for 1st or 3rd depending on the guys up the rode. Mike and I chatted and set the plan then watched the laps tick by. The two guys up fronts lead was dropping fast it was down to 10sec with 4 laps to go. I got Mike into position on what I though was the last lap and the 2 up front where right in front of us the bubble boys were riding to slow on the front to catch them (no surprise) I left Mike in the 5 spot and went in pursuit. I hit the hill and killed it I got half up and was like OK were are they no won came by I was like either there was a crash or I'm a lap to soon. I was like 10 meters from the 2 leaders so I figured that I would finish them off and Mike would have to fend for himself on the last lap. I got to the top and I had a gap on the field about the same as me to the break. I sat up to see what was going on Mike looked good and I was sure they would absorbed the break so I was going to just roll in. Then I saw 1-2-3-4 bubble boys on the side of the rode involved in a crash. I don't know if they all went down or they were hanging out trying to look cool. Mike won the field sprint but we didn't catch the break, my bad Timmmmyyyyy if I pay you will you tutor me on counting backwards? At least from 10 down I will get your # from the Porto-Let. All in all the legs were good the head not so good. Here's the report card I give Zane's a B+ . The bubbles well I guess I can put it this way LT it looks like another year of getting rocks thrown at you. Timmmmyyyyy you get an incomplete, maybe you can get a spot on the next celebrity fit club?
