One week down!!!
I got the first week of training and probably the hardest done. I did two weeks of easy hour spins before this week but this is the first time I turned the pedals with force. I have been working the 2-10 shift at work so its easier for me to get out and train. As for this season it was a wash for me. When I got back on the bike (after the stroke) I still had some residual fitness. My plan was to do short intense rides due to my being tired all the time. I milked that until I was cooked. I didn't touch my bike for over a month. I don't know if it was the med's, the stroke, work or a combo of all of them but I was shot. I would come home from work and lay on the couch until it was time to go to bed. Then I just got tired of being tired, Robyn pushed me to get going again. I went out with her and she put a hurting on me (pay back is a bitch). How many times did I say to her just sit on my wheel? Well it was my turn now. I hope to be back on the SPG ride by October. I think that I will need the next couple of weeks to get some legs back. At least I'm motivated and I'll see how far I can go. I want to jump back into the FEATURE races next year just to see if I can do it. You all know what that means lots of miles and pain.

Slow and steady man. You'll be back healthy and ready for 2012 if you don't rush it.
Hey Rondo, we miss you in the pack. We hope your progress continues in a positive and rapid pace.

The ride sure has been alot quieter.
It sux to be on the baseline, but you'll keep progresing and will soon be putting the "hurt" on the boys again.

Hey Rondo, come back to Litchfield County and we'll do some of "Rondo's Secret Training Rides". I'll be a lot easier on you than Robyn!
