11/7/11

I did the ride yesterday, all the usual suspects were there. The ride started out easy 18mph and change. The pace stayed pretty low, I told Cocci that it felt like just before a cat4 crash. Hence I stayed near the front. When we got to rt68 they told me that MCG flatted near the gingerbread house. He said he would chase back on, good luck with that. After the announcement of the flat Hunter and co started to pick up the pace. E, Cocci, Koski and me just sat in. With the thought that MCG and his droogies would catch back on. When we got to the ski slope we all started to work knowing that he wasn't coming back. At the turnaround Hunter tryed to make a move but didn't get to far. Then it was Todd's turn to give it a go. He was given a little more leash than Hunter. I saw that they were going to let him go so I started the chase with Cocci and E in tow. We made the connection and E tipped off for the prize at the top of the hill. Then Koski gave it a go he looked good but the light at Target put an end to that. At the bottom of the hill (where the right left) is the traffic was backed up. Thats were we met up with the guys that waited for MCG. ( Crowell, LT Jullio) As soon as we made the junction Crowell took off, nobody cared because he was DQed. The pack just stayed steady the rest of the way. No prizes were handed out at S&S and the end due to guys that were off the back getting involved. How about the beard on Cocci WOW can you say grizzly Addams.
