MOTHER FUCKER, as I have said a few times 2011 has not been kind. On the way home I got doored on Orange ave. Jelle, Jacinto and Tommas were my eyewitnesses. We were cruising along and some dude opened his car door just as I was riding by. I had no time to react. I swerved and just clipped the door and had to counter steer back to stay out of the middle of the road. Then I slammed my forearm into the car's mirror that was parked in front of the guy. I broke the mirror right off the car and then rode into the bumper of the the car in front of the mirror car, then hit the ground. I looked back at the guy and cursed him up and down. He looked at me and I swear I thought he was going to cry. Tommas asked if I needed a ambulance and to be honest at that moment I didn't know. I took a second to get my head straight and told him I didn't need one. I got up and saw Robyn riding down the road she had eased up because she was cold. When she got to us, I calmed her down and told her to go get the car. Tommas called the Police and we waited for like 30 minutes for him to come. The guy who hit me was in a frazzeled state. We started to look at my bike and the head tube was cracked like an egg. Fuck Me, thats two bikes in one year. The cop got my story and stats and then sent us on our way. The guy had insurance and it was 100% his fault so I should be good on the bike. I think that my new video camera is shot to. My arm started to hurt when I got home pretty bad so Robyn took me to the ER. No breaks just a bad knock it will be fine in a few days. It hurts like a fuck right now though. I will try to down load the video from today and post it mid week. No I didn't have it on during the crash damm.

That sux Rondo. Lucky you didn't get really hurt, you had a driver who assummed responsibility, you had good friends with you and even a better wife to take care of you.
Bikes can be fixed.
Glad you're "alright" Rondo. Hope you have a back-up bike until you get a replacement.

let's get this straight. In the past year, I have not ridden into a parked mail truck or an open door. My bike handling skills are MUCH better than Rondo's.

Rondos bike mechanic skill are amazing, he once made my bike work with a piece from our vacuum cleaner. Needless to say, the vacuum never worked again.

Ok here is my run down. Krusty road like a dope, Rocky opened up gaps that he couldn't close and bengay panicked and got flicked at the end.

I don't know why you say I was panicking, I was fine. I just wanted to get a dig in. I did get flicked at the end but that's what happens when you ride your bike twice a week. Anyway, I hope everyone is showing up tomorrow and not using x-mas as an excuse.
