5/5

Bethel
The Chimp scores !!!!!

"Yea I'm like that chimp in Norwalk , you can dress me up in a suit but I'll still claw your eyes out"

We went to Bethel today less Koski . Mike was going to race and the rest of us were going to do a long ride but I had to work in the morning . When I got out I told Jeeves I was going. He has been under the weather so he said he would play it by how he felt when it was time to go . When we got there the weather was nice , warm and windy. It was a typical Bethel the hill was pretty easy due to a tail wind . Nothing seemed like it was going to get away so with 13 laps to go I told Jeeves to go with any breaks and I was going to watch Mike for the pack sprint . All was going to plan then with 7 laps to go a split happened when Jeeves and Curty hit it hard. Mike was straight on to it I was in a bad spot but then I saw LT getting ready to go across . Two days in a row thanks T. When I got there we went to work again . I tryed to drive as best as I could , there were a lot of passengers in the move . (you know who you are) Enis jumped and got a gap , I could read Mikes mind not again . He started to drive it and I told him to relax I took a good pull and true to form everyone was looking at each other . You would think the wind will burn your skin by the reactions of some of you guys . Mike took this hesitation to bridge the gap . When I saw him get across I knew he would win . We have been knocking on the door and this was are race . What was left of the break started to fall apart . With 2 to go I was in the 2nd group but Funk attacked and took 2 guys with him . LT tryed to jump the gap I went with him with the UPMC guy . They wanted me to work but why would I do that when they would both beat me anyway . I just rode them in just as long as I stayed ahead of the dicks that wernt working in the break . Mike got double points and slipped into 2nd overall in the series so we walk away with a good pay day . Not bad for a last minute decision .

I wish I was there so I could claim credit for something that I would clearly have had nothing to do with. Also missed good opportunity in the 3/4 as BJ got 2nd.

Very nice, sponsor = happy.

We had fun. John and I made the selection when the pack split with about 20 to 30 going off into what you could call a break but then after a couple laps another break happened with 5 guys. One rider from Cervelo Test Team, one guy from OUCH/Maxxis, Mark McCormick and a Met Life Guy. That was the break that stuck. All in all, it was a fun race. Really fast with a lot of wind coming off the Atlantic. I highly recommend this race. It's much more fun than Bethel just kind of a long ride to get too but at least everybody talks normally up there.

Rondo, you ignorant twit...

That was not a prediction, that was a wish. Here's the difference between the two words:

pre-dic-tion – noun
1. an act of predicting.
2. an instance of this; prophecy.

wish – noun
1. an act or instance of wishing
2. a request or command
3. an expression of a wish, often one of a kindly or courteous nature
4. something wished or desired
(you can ignore the 3rd definition in this case)

Do you understand, or should I draw you a picture?...perhaps in crayon?

Calm down Nick you know you need your puffer when you get excited . Just go eat another cookie , take a deep breath . There you go , one more cookie now that's it . The bubble kit looks good when its stretched out. Don't worry bro it will be OK .

Oh, Rondo...Rondo Rondo Rondo...you are so concerned with weight. My 16 year old neighbor isn't as concerned about her waistline as you are about yours. I bet you read a lot of People magazine, huh? You have to keep up on how much your favorite celebrities have lost or gained. It's not a book, but at least you're reading...or do you just look at the pictures?
