BURRR FUCKING COLD !!!!! E and I started out at 7:30 he had a 5 hour ride on tap and I had a 6 hour one in store for me . We headed up a climb that runs between rt69 and 63 its a nice 20 min climb . Just enough time to get toasty but then as we turned onto rt63 it hits us . He looked at me and with out saying ,it was understood UHHHH a 5mile decent to the Tuck . Typically E rides the front on descents but not this time the fucker stuck me out front to eat the head wind . When we got down to the bottom his hands were hurtin , luckily I had my OP goretex shells . Those thing are worth there weight in gold . We got going again and next on the list was rt68 from Naugy to Prospect . Its a steady 4 mile climb we hit at a good pace , we were behind on time due to the head wind and a couple of pit stops . At the top with one obstacle left the decent of rt68 to Cheshire . Thankfully E took the lead on this one . We rolled into S&S right on time the ride down to the Giant was calm . Sometimes a couple of those wingnuts ride to hard and we get there way to early only to freeze(Crowell). I must say I was a little worried when we got there I noticed that Robyn wasn't there , I figured she bailed due to the cold but still it made me think . The ride started out slow witch was nice for a change . Somewhere by the Ski slope the ride split we heard some yelling and eased up . I noticed that Mike wasn't there when Chappy came up and said that Big John's wheel came lose . We rode easy to the turn around and they wernt in site . Crowell said they probably took the short cut . Just the same we rode up the hill easy and looked back at the top . Still no sign so we assumed they were up the rode . On the way back we rode steady tempo . Nothing of note happened until we were about 1k out , I love it when guys that you didn't even know were on the ride try to come to the front . Thing is they cant even pull through , you know who you are . Then the toads are so gassed that they look like pinball's bouncing of people . How you upgraded for a 5 to a 4 I will never know . My guess is a blonde wig and dirty knees . E and I rode home with WCK good to see him back . I walked in the door with 5hours in and Robyn was like your back early . I had told her I was doing 6 . I am always telling her that you have to do the workout you are schedule to . Fuck !!!! Back out the door I went , I did the beach loop for a hour the wind was at gail force so it was a lesson in pain I must say . The daily totals 6hours 4 min 103 miles 139 avg heart.
